Sweeney decided to give up in the year 1999. Sweeney stopped diet-related fads like grapefruit and cabbage soup. She also made healthy changes by cutting sugary drinks and began exercising in boot-camp like gym classes. And the results? What did she get? shed 30 pounds. Sweeney is of Irish heritage. There are two brothers. She left UCLA to join Days of Our Lives after finishing her education in economics. Sweeney along with David Sanov married on July 8, 2000 after a three-year relationship.
